Dear Paul, Please accept my sincere thanks for sharing your personal story with my team. Rest assured, I have received positive feedback from a variety of attenders who enjoyed the healthy mix of light hearted anecdotes and hard hitting facts of living life with the consequences of a major accident. Dear Alan and Neil, I think he was rather impressed. With best regards, |
Hi Paul, See below for some genuine feedback from our employees. It was a very thought provoking and intimate presentaion, I felt that the audience really came to understand just how easily an oversight or lack of attention to safety can result in a life changing event. Paul also focused on the impact to family and friends which demonstrated how far reaching the consequences of an accident can be. I felt this really hit home with the entire audience. Paul is a very brave man and offers a unique insight into the importance of keeping safe. |

This session really hit home how a small error can have such a huge impact on not only yourself but those around you. We have watched videos and read statements but by actually listening first hand to someome who has experienced what Paul has, it really did make you stop and think.
Paul told his story not trying to achieve a a hard hit shock, he just told his story. Everyone in the room was completely focussed because we could all relate to the circumstances of how his accident occurred. Listening to Paul fully brought home the effect on him, his family and friends; things I had never fully contemplated before. It is the only presentation I have been in that I can remember the full name of the presenter.
Great presentation really hit home the consequences of our actions and how complacency can set it.
Best wishes. Robert Ward |
Paul, Thanks for your attendance at our working at height even on the 9th and 10th May here at our project on Sellafield, the feedback from the daywas very positive and also very complimentaryas to how you come across with your presentation stylewhich helped get across your message to our site teams, We deem the day to have been a big success and this was aided by your attendance over the 2 days, thus helping us to focus our attention on working at height and ultimately deliver on our EHS stratergy of 'zero harm' I would not hesitate in recommending Paul to other projects within our organisation or indeed the wider construction sectors. Thanks again, James Gordon CMIOSH MIIRSM |
